Well folks, it is just a few hours to go before the Heart and Stroke Ride for Heart, and I just wanted to chime in with a last post. Thanks to a generous donation from my parents, who have had more cause than most this year to support the Heart and Stroke Foundation, I have passed my goal of $1000.00 this year. Thanks for one of my long time supporters, it is $1000.42 to be exact. So a HUGE thanks to all my amazing donors!
Erin is still down below her goal, I think many of you know we have been a touch busy for all of May, so it has spared you a lot of fundraising spam. All things being said, she is doing amazing, and I know it has all come in the last week for sure. Still we would love to have you guys push her over the top. So here is Erin's Donor Link. You can also track her progress with this handy badge!
Araska is a rock, actually that is a lie, Araska is a fictional rock, in a fictional sea, in a fictional world, the only thing that could be said about is that, if said, world, sea and rock were to exist, then you would have a nice view of a fictional harbour.

Laser Wolves Corralled
The Battle of the Laser Wolves
So in the continued and delayed saga of Erin's B'day present (the saga delayed, the present is done) I thought I would continue with some of the construction pictures.
So the gist of the gift was a whole room reno on the master bedroom, everyone (parents on both sides, Candace and I) to pull this together. Erin's mom and I have been scheming since about August, and while here work was ALL the sowing (and there was a lot.) My real task came in the 36 hours ahead of the unveiling where I stripped the room of furnishings, packed the closet, painted, and then put it all back together with everyones help and gifts.
So here are some of the in progress shots.

Crawford Lake
Went for a fall constitutional up to Crawford Lake, Bryan marched us at warp speed around the whole lake, then putt putt putted the last hill up. It was fun, and the weather was perfectly fall.

We saw a lot of this
And sometimes he would stop and tell us to hurry
I encouraged Bryan to be a tree
