Insurance is settled, at least for the car, still dealing with injury and incidentals. Got a good price for the Sonata, so we put a little bit extra into the Caravan. So now we are getting a Dodge Grand Caravan SE Plus (oooo) with Stow and Go Bench and Captains Chairs.
With RBC settled on the old car we were able to actually finalize the paperwork on the van, so we are picking it up Monday. Its shiny silver, it was my last choice, but it was what was on hand so we got it. The trick it seems was the blue tooth. If we hadn't wanted the built in system they had it in red or blue, but we've had enough hassle with the BlueAnt thing never being charged, or the clip missing... So now we will just have it built in and done with.
So yeah, not excited about a van, just can't get excited about a van, but glad enough to have the cargo space, and it says right in the brochure that it can hold a 4x8, and when I finish the basement I plan to test that.
Araska is a rock, actually that is a lie, Araska is a fictional rock, in a fictional sea, in a fictional world, the only thing that could be said about is that, if said, world, sea and rock were to exist, then you would have a nice view of a fictional harbour.

Evolution of Silliness

You Know it is a Bad Sign When...
You can't recognize your car.
So it literally pains me to type this, but that's because my left hand is really sore, last night on the way home from the Go Station I got into an accident. All people seem to be okay, but the Sonata is pretty much a write off, which brings me to our first picture:
Anyways, its just not a good week for Geoff, I seem to have bruised both my knees, and my seat belt has left my chest a little sore, but the worst for ware is old lefty who finds general movement uncomfortable. I'm going to go see a Dr, but I'm 90% sure it is just inflammation and pulled muscles.
The interior is all weird, the dash board is pushed forward and the gear box is popped up, and the bumper is in the passenger seat (okay that last one was put there after the fact.)
Point of the story is baaaa, and I'm ok, and was alone in car, so all is as well as it can be.

Without the grill, bumper, or licence, I actually walked past the car twice... |

I think that is a knee shape on the left side, which corresponds with my knee bruise |

Teaser - March 2010
Back in March my friend Brad did something really novel for his 30th Birthday, I can't recall if it was his idea, or his girl friend Jodi's, but they rented a photo studio for an afternoon and invited all their friends and family to come, hang out, take photos, and just have fun. Brad has gifted me with a great amount of his time doing a lot of the post production work on the images he capture of our family, and I will post a couple more when I'm on a proper pipe (don't want to clog the mobile tubes,) but here is a warm up:

Evelyn
Evie is about three weeks old now, and has put back on all her birth weight and then some, she seems like she is growing pretty good so that the NB sized stuff is starting to be smallish, not small yet, but a good fit.
New sweater from Myam, and looks EYES OPEN!!!! |

Super Awesome Hoodie
Seriously, if they made this in an adult men's 2x I would own one to, this is just the coolest hoodie ever, thanks Charlie!!! |
Bryan and Friends
Bryan has a lot of friends he likes to spend time with, Baby D (Some times known as DeeDee) is always a popular fellow. |

Evie being awake!
Well, she looks a bit cross-eyed a lot of the time, but it's partly because she's often trying to look at the fish on her playmat.
Evie's logging more "awake time" every day. Alas, this is a little sad for us grownups because it tends to fall during Bryan's nap. No more adult naptime I guess!
Turn your head for this one... I'll figure out next time how to rotate it for you, but I have Evie in the sling at the moment and I'm having trouble typing as it is!
I sort of staged this shot with her and her toy Tikki, by helping her get a finger into one of the taggie loops. She looks rather intent, perhaps wondering why this little tiger follows her around everywhere!
